Our History
2010

FL Aviation Brand - 2011
Beginning of a dream
In May 2011, what had been just a final project developed in 2010 became reality. FL Aviation was born, founded by João Franco and his close friend Riccieri Leonardi. The company's name bears the initials of their surnames—Franco and Leonardi—representing their commitment to quality and loyalty to their customers.
The union of these initials also gave rise to a codename widely used in aviation, which inspired us to transform the idea into a public brand. From there, projects such as theoretical classes for pilots, comprehensive consulting for executive aviation, VTI/VTE, shared aircraft ownership, and other services emerged. This was the beginning of our entrepreneurial journey.
2012

GSO Brazil Brand - 2012
Focus on Agricultural Aviation
In December 2012, a restructuring of operations led to the segmentation of FL Aviation's services. With this change, João Franco took over full management of a new business focused exclusively on Agricultural Aviation, thus creating GSO Brasil.
From that point on, João decided to end his partnership with FL Aviation to dedicate himself entirely to the development and control of GSO Brasil, consolidating his presence in a sector that required focus, specialization and strategic vision.
2014

Safety JACF Brand Transition - 2014
Market Changes
In March 2014, with the vision of transforming GSO Brasil into a company offering services open to the general agricultural public, the process of transitioning its legal status began—changing its status from MEI (Individual Microentrepreneur) to ME (Microenterprise). During this five-month period, structural changes to the platform and brand identity were evaluated.
It was in this context that the Safety JACF brand was born, as part of the development of a new market positioning proposal.
The transition was completed in August 2014, when the company officially began operating under a new name: Piloto Aero. The choice reflected the need for an easily recognizable and pronounceable brand, aligned with its target audience. Since then, Piloto Aero has established itself in the agricultural aviation sector, becoming a national benchmark in control, standardization, and implementation of procedures focused on operational safety.

The transition was completed in August 2014, when the company officially adopted the name Piloto Aero—an easy-to-pronounce and memorable brand name designed to speak directly to the agricultural aviation community. Since then, Piloto Aero has established itself in the industry, becoming a national benchmark in the control and standardization of operational safety procedures throughout the country.
With full-time interaction tools for SGSO and PPSP program clients, Piloto Aero offers:
Mandatory training in e-learning format;
Additional and individual training;
Threat management on agricultural landslides through the exclusive Area Bulletin;
Development of operational and safety bulletins;
And several other specialized services for agricultural aviation.
The brand's commitment is to guarantee quality, efficiency and operational safety, promoting the constant evolution of sector practices throughout the country.
2020

Cello Hold - 2020
Creation of Hold
In 2020, with the relocation of its administrative headquarters to the city of Indaiatuba, São Paulo, Piloto Aero took an important strategic step in its trajectory. This transition brought a series of benefits and enabled the creation of Cello Hold, a holding company responsible for managing the brands developed by Piloto Aero to date.
With this new structure, it was possible to direct efforts toward an ambitious expansion plan aimed at strengthening agricultural aviation in Brazil. New segments under development include:
Offering specific aeronautical insurance for the agricultural sector;
Structuring your own agricultural company;
Implementation of decontamination yards at strategic points in the country.
All of these projects are in the full development phase, with consolidation expected in the coming years.
On May 8, 2021, celebrating 10 years since the first initiatives that gave rise to Piloto Aero, the company reinforced its commitment to innovation and operational excellence. As part of this celebration and its constant evolution, its visual identity was updated, with a modified logo, reflecting the brand's modernization and continued growth.
2021

Aero Pilot - 10 years
10th Anniversary
The intense yellow color, present in our national flag, was chosen to represent the essence of our brand and our pride in Brazil. As a symbol of this commitment, we placed two Brazilian flags on the wingtips of our agricultural aircraft—a symbolic gesture with the message:
"May Brazil soar ever higher."
To reinforce this vision, we added to our motto:
"Continuous search for innovation in our country."
We believe in Brazil's development and work daily with transparency, integrity, and passion for what we do. Our goal is to earn the trust and recognition of our customers, employees, and friends every day, contributing to the strengthening of agricultural aviation and national agribusiness.
2021

Aero Pilot - 2021 to 2024
Creation of the Aero Pilot APP
In 2021, Piloto Aero innovated once again by launching the Piloto Aero app, marking a new phase in strengthening operational standardization processes for agricultural aviation in Brazil. The company no longer operates exclusively through HTML-based systems and fully immersed itself in the mobile environment, making its app available in official stores for all agricultural aviation operators in the country—including private operators, legal entities with fleets of aircraft, and drone operators.
The platform offered specialized programs focused on continuous improvement in the sector, fostering the growth of standardization and operational safety nationwide. As a result, Piloto Aero established itself as a leading provider of technical and strategic advisory services for agricultural aviation in Brazil.
This entry into the world of apps also led to a revitalization of the brand, now composed of the colors yellow and green, in homage to the national flag — symbolizing the company's commitment to the progress of Brazilian agricultural aviation.

Aero Pilot PRO APP
By 2025, with over 50 active clients nationwide and coordinating more than 250 agricultural aircraft and pilots, Piloto Aero had established itself as synonymous with operational efficiency, transparency, quality, and safety. The company has become a national benchmark for standardization in agricultural aviation, recognized by federal agencies such as CENIPA, ANAC, SINDAG, and others for its significant contribution to improving the sector's operational processes.
Throughout this journey, Piloto Aero has been featured in specialized magazines, published technical articles, and developed essential tools and content such as:
Standard operating procedures
Operational security alerts
Flight performance simulators
Solutions for operational planning
Guides on working hours and logbooks, among other essential materials for the activity.
With over 50,000 monthly app visits and over 100,000 annual push notifications sent to users, the company realized the need to further advance. In response, Piloto Aero PRO was born—an evolution of the current platform, designed to directly impact day-to-day agricultural operations.
The new app is designed to assist pilots in making operational decisions, acting preventively and with even greater efficiency, safety, and quality. It also launches a new front: the Aero Pilot Seal, which allows for the assessment and certification of each client's operational quality, promoting continuous improvements and offering mitigating benefits to those who excel in performance and compliance.
The official launch of Piloto Aero PRO is scheduled for the second half of 2025 and will be accompanied by a new brand revitalization, which will be applied to all advertising media and official products of the Piloto Aero store — including shirts, caps, squeeze bottles, mugs, backpacks and toiletry bags.
Piloto Aero continues to evolve, with the aim of transforming Brazilian agricultural aviation into a model of operational excellence.
